This blog will act as a portfolio of your experiences at job shadows, field trips, guest speakers, volunteer work, and any other relevant reflections, contributions or images you want to collect.

Expectations for Portfolio Blog:
You will be expected to enter blog posts every time you attend a field trip, listen to a guest speaker, and upon completion of each job shadowing/volunteering placement. We'd also like to read about your related courses and extra-curricular involvements... how have they broadened your perspective?
Write about what you learned about the job/career and what you learned about yourself. You can include photos or images in your posts!
Ideas for content include: What did you enjoy about this experience? What problems did you encounter? What would have made this a better experience for you? What was the most interesting thing you learned? Any additional comments?

How to create a Focus Program Portfolio Blog
Use your My Louisville - Google Apps connection to Blogger to create your blog. If you've never done this before, just go to My Louisville's Links and Downloads portal and look for the Blogger link.
Create a new blog and give it a name in this format: LvhsFocusUsername where username is your mylouisville username, like jsmith15. Pick any design you like.
In the settings you are to make it private (ONLY BLOG AUTHORS) and invite us moderators as authors: jaguilar@louisvillehs.org, mgoldstein@louisvillehs.org, lflynn@louisvillehs.org
